Norm and Nancy Witek

Co-Founder and Executive Director

Norm has been a Director of summer running camps since 1972. He is a former Brevard College Cross-Country & Track Coach (1967 – 1986), producing a record 5 consecutive NJCAA Championship teams. He is a 3-time National Coach of the Year and member of the NJCAA Hall of Fame, Brevard College Hall of Fame & Lyons Township High School Hall of Fame. He is Professor Emeritus of Exercise Science at Brevard College. BS, MS Education; University of Tennessee and the proud father of four amazing children.
Nancy is a licensed Real Estate Agent, the proud mom of four amazing children and heads the administrative team. BA Education, Wesleyan College

Dave and Sue Rinker

Co-Founder and Assistant Director

Dave and Sue have played a major role in the camp development. Dave has been a director of summer running camps for more than 30 years and is also a former Brevard College Cross Country and Track & Field Coach (1984 – 1999). He is a 3-time NJCAA Coach of the Year, a member of the NJCAA Hall of Fame, and the Brevard College Hall of Fame and the former head Country Coach at James Madison University. BS James Madison University.
Sue is the former Head Cross Country and Track & Field Coach at Spotswood High School, VA and is a USATF Level II Certified Endurance Coach. She is the on campus director of the administrative team. BS Virginia Tech.
